Día 17 / Day 17

Phnom Penh, 25 de Septiembre de 2011, Hacete una siestita.

Ayer a la noche decidimos contratar un tour de todo el día para evitar un poco la ciudad y visitar algunos lugares más tranquilos. Lamentablemente luego del desayuno descubrimos que nunca lo íbamos a hacer porque la agencia de turismo se quedo sin choferes, por suerte el conserje del hotel, un señor Inglés o bien con un perfecto acento británico, nos consiguió que un taxi nos lleve hasta Phnom Preach Reach Trap que es un templo en las afueras. Por algún motivo hoy había mucho tráfico y demoramos en llegar, en el camino disfrutamos del paisaje, por decir algo, y cuando llegamos nos encontramos con una multitud de gente y un templo con más de 200 escalones, nuevamente con la humedad y el calor, este lugar se convirtió un calvario, en este caso tendríamos que sumarle a varios niños que subían con nosotros apantallándonos con el fin de obtener alguna recompensa, por suerte cuando bajamos había aun mas niños. Caminamos un poco entre los puestos de comida y descubrimos varios restaurantes donde podes comer y hacerte una siestita, acá les dejo una foto.

Phnom Penh, September 25th 2011, Take a little nap.

We decided to hire an all day tour yesterday night in order to avoid the city and visit more quiet places. Unfortunately we discover it won’t happen after take breakfast because the travel agency was out of drivers, but fortunately the concierge of the hotel, an English man or someone with an excellent British pronunciation, got a taxi for us and we went outside of the city to Phnom Preach Reach Trap. There was a lot of traffic today for some reason and the arriving was delayed, but we enjoyed the landscape, just to say something. Finally we got the place and discover a crowd, people everywhere and kids trading tourist information and giving a manual fan for a reward. The temple is located in the high with more than 200 steps, again with humid and hot weather, this places became a nightmare, but lucky us we found more kids at the return. We walked around between food sales and we discovered several restaurants where you can eat and take a nap, here you have a photograph.
