Día 5 / Day 5

Phuket, 13 de Septiembre de 2011, La playa.

Martes 13, no te cases ni te embarques, pero sin embargo hoy por la mañana nos embarcamos en el aeropuerto de Bangkok por muy poquito dinero en Airasia.com, se los recomiendo, nos vinimos a Phuket, un lugar lleno de playas paradisiacas. La multitud, la gran ciudad y la gran mayoría de olores han quedado atrás.

Inmediatamente cuando llegamos al hotel y dejamos las valijas nos fuimos derecho a la playa a almorzar y a aprovechar el poco sol que quedaba antes de las nubes de tormenta, que por suerte nunca llego. Luego fuimos a caminar por la zona de Kata beach, donde estamos alojados, ahí pudimos observar muchos comercios pero mayormente, masajes, trajes a medida, restaurantes y taxis o Tuk Tuk, todos y cada uno de ellos fueron ofrecidos incansablemente junto a nuestros pasos, al principio uno dice que no y gracias, luego dice que no, mas tarde simplemente levanta la mano deteniendo la oferta y finalmente uno pasa a ignorarlos, por supuesto ahí se vuelve divertido porque intentan adivinar de donde uno viene y la frase más graciosa fue: “seguro que son rusos, porque los rusos no hablan Inglés”, bueno doy fe que es verdad no hablan. Ya en el hotel nuevamente esperamos ver mañana desde el balcón como se esconde el sol nuevamente, acá les dejo una imagen de nuestra vista.

Tuesday 13rd, don’t get married and don’t get on board either, but although we got on board this morning in the Bangkok airport for less money on Airasia.com, very recommended, we came to Phuket, a place full of paradisiacal beaches. The crowd, the big city and mostly the smell have left behind.

We left the baggage as soon as we arrived to the hotel and we went straight to the beach to have lunch and to take advantage of the last rays of sun before the storm clouds, fortunately the storm never appeared. After that we went to walk at Kata beach area, where we are staying, and we had the chance to see many different stores, mostly massage, custom suits, restaurants and taxis or Tuk Tuk, all of them were constantly offered by locals, at the beginning we said no thank you, then no, later simply we showed a hand stopping the offer and finally we just ignored them, in that moment we listened a funny phrase: “I’m sure you are Russian because Russian don’t speak English”, and it’s true I can say that, they don’t speak. We came to the hotel again waiting to see the sunset again from our balcony, here you can see how it looks at night.
