Día 10 / Day 10

Kuala Lumpur, 18 de Septiembre de 2011, Cuevas Batu.

Después del largo día de ayer, nos levantamos mas tarde y luego del desayuno visitamos un shopping de varios pisos dedicado únicamente a la tecnología, muchísimas computadoras, teléfonos, cámaras de fotos y televisores. Al salir nos encontramos con lo que parecía la tormenta del fin del mundo, daba miedo como llovía, entonces decidimos ir a visitar unas cuevas en las afueras de la ciudad esperando que pare mientras viajábamos en tren. Estas cuevas dicen que tiene 400 millones de años y dentro de ellas tienen varios templos Hindúes, el más importante esta a mas de 100 metros de altura y es necesario subir 272 escalones, toda una experiencia con la humedad del lugar, pero la recompensa esta al llegar. Las cuevas son realmente impresionantes y creo que no hay mejor lugar para un templo con el significado que este conlleva. Acá les dejo una foto del templo principal dentro de una de las cuevas.

We woke up late after our long day we had yesterday, we had breakfast and then we visited a shopping mall with several floors dedicated to technology, a lot of computers, phones, cameras and TVs. We found the end of the world storm when we left the mall, it was really scary see how was raining, to avoid this we decided to take the train to the caves located outside of the city and wait for the rain stops. These caves have 400 million years old they said and several Hindu temples inside, the most of important one is located 100 meter over the street level and it’s necessary to climb 272 steps, a whole experience with the humid weather in that place, but the reward is upstairs. These caves are really impressive and the best place to set a temple with the meaning of this one, I think. Here you have a photograph of the most important one inside of the main cave.
