Septiembre de 2011, la llegada.
La historia
del día la perdimos, porque de hecho pasamos todo el día en el avión, o la
noche, o las dos cosas, realmente no lo sabemos. El total del viaje puerta a
puerta fue de 35 horas, primero escala en Los Ángeles, luego escala en Tokio, acá
lo curioso fue que subimos a las 15.00hs en Los Ángeles y llegamos a la misma exacta
hora a Tokio pero habíamos volado por 10 horas y media, lo que me lleva a
concluir que el avión viaja prácticamente a la misma velocidad de rotación de
la tierra. Finalmente llegamos a Bangkok donde nos hicieron caminar mucho hasta
que nos sellaron nuestras tarjetas de embarque indicando que somos sanos,
porque quienes viene de casi la mayoría de los países de Latino América y África
son posibles portadores de la fiebre amarilla, para lo que tuvimos que
vacunarnos previamente. Esta es la entrada del hotel en medio de un callejón,
un poco tenebroso pero un lindo hotel.

We lost the
story for today, because we spent the whole day in the aircraft, or the
evening, or both, we really don’t know. The total time door to door of the trip
was 35 hours, first a stop in L.A., then another stop in Tokyo, and the curious
thing here was we took the plane at 3PM in L.A. and we arrived at 3PM at Tokyo
but we flew for 10 hours and a half, so I conclude the speed of the plane is
almost the same to the rotation speed of planet earth. We arrived to Bangkok
finally and we walked a lot until we’ve received the stamp of healthy person, this
is because mostly countries of Latin America and Africa are possible carriers
of yellow fever, that’s why we’ve taken the vaccine before the trip. This is
the entrance of the hotel in the middle of an alley, a little bit creepy but a
nice place.
