Chiang Mai, 16 de Octubre de 2011, Tribu de cuello largo.
Hoy fue un día muy ocupado, empezamos temprano con el
desayuno en el hotel y luego nos pasaron a buscar para ir a una excursión.
Primero fuimos a ver una granja de orquídeas y mariposas, bastante pobre y
pensamos que así seguiría todo el día, pero por suerte no. Luego fuimos a dar
un paseo en elefante pero como yo ya lo había hecho opte por quedarme a esperar
que todos vuelvan, cuando llegaron almorzamos ahí y al terminar nos fuimos a
hacer rafting en el rio, primero en un bote de goma y luego en una balsa de bambú,
pero la máxima atracción al menos para mí, fue que visitamos una tribu donde
las mujeres usan unos anillos en el cuello desde pequeñas, que de a poco van a
agregando y así se les estira el cuello, muy interesante. Acá les dejo la foto
de una de las mujeres que estaba trabajando en artesanías.

October 16th 2011, Long neck tribe.
Today was a
busy day, we started early in the morning with breakfast at the hotel, after
that we took a tour. First we went to an orchid and butterfly farm, not so good
and we thought the whole day will be like that, but lucky us it wasn’t. We went
to take an elephant ride, but I did that before so I decided to stay and wait
for the others to have lunch in there, after that we went to the river to do
rafting, first in a traditional boat, later in a bamboo boat, but the best
attraction today was the visit to the Long Neck tribe, at least to me. Women
have to wear a set of rings in their necks since they are young, and later they
add more with time, doing this they get a long neck. Here you have a photograph
